Artesian Resources Corporation Announces Pricing of Public Offering of Common Stock

NEWARK, Del., May 19, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Artesian Resources Corporation (Nasdaq: ARTNA) (Artesian or the Company) announced today that it has priced a firm commitment underwritten public offering of 695,650 shares of the Company’s Class A Non-Voting Common Stock at a purchase price of $50 per share for an aggregate gross offering amount of approximately $34.8 million. The offering is expected to close on or about May 23, 2023, subject to customary closing conditions. The Company has also granted the underwriter a 30-day option to purchase from Artesian up to an additional 104,348 shares of Class A Non-Voting Common Stock at the public offering price, less the underwriting discount. Janney Montgomery Scott LLC is acting as sole book-running manager.
Artesian currently intends to use the net proceeds of the offering for general corporate purposes, including its capital investment program and repayment of outstanding indebtedness.
